Mystery Of Iniquity
2 Thessalonians 2:3-10.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with The Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:
2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
Satan never sleeps and as soon as Christ ascended to heaven, he worked over-time to destroy the Church Of Jesus Christ in it's infancy ! The apostles saw and understood these attacks and warned the new believers of the Mystery of Iniquity that was already gaining access to the members of the Church ! In Acts 20:30 Paul warned them saying;
"Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them."
We always have more to fear from within our church membership than from without. When the challenge comes from without, then the members do not hesitate to respond, but when members who are not converted, or who are unknowingly to the church, "wolves in sheeps clothing" then confusion comes in as to the action to be taken for the person who is bringing in the strange ideas is "one of us", a family member and often has many friends in the church ! And as we are finding today, much of the false teaching is coming from the "leaders" in "high positions" !
Men who speak smooth words, but, yet cunningly carry out actions contrary to The Bible and Testimonies of Jesus !
So this "Mystery of Iniquity" is at work from within and without the Church of Christ.
Without, it was to develope into a MEGA system of FALSE RELIGION that would seek to rule over the whole world.
One of the things this false system of Satan would do is to "change times and laws". (Daniel 7: 25)
God tells us in this next paragraph who would attempt to do this:
"A rival sabbath is exalted, as was the great golden image in the plain of Dura. Leaders claiming to be Christians will call upon the world to observe the spurious sabbath that they have made. All who refuse will be put under oppressive laws. This is the mystery of iniquity, the devising of satanic agencies, carried into effect by the man of sin. . . . CTr 178
Who is the "man of sin" who would "attemt to change God's Law and bring in a false sabbath? We will let that power identify itself from their own testimony.
Question: What then did the Roman Catholic Church do?
Answer: "Sunday is our "Mark of Authority"...the church is above the Bible, and this transference of the Sabbath observance is proof of the fact.

No question remains, "the man of sin" openly admits that the Catholic Church, "changed" the Sabbath from the Seventh Day commanded by God, to the first day of the week, Sunday, which is a pagan day of "Sun Worship"!
The Holy Spirit says that the man of sin is the head of the Mystery of Iniquity!
"By a variety of images the Lord Jesus represented to John the wicked character and seductive influence of those who have been distinguished for their persecution of God's people. All need wisdom carefully to search out the mystery of iniquity that figures so largely in the winding up of this earth's history. . . . Ev 705
"In the very time in which we live, The Lord has called His people and has given them a message to bear. He has called them to expose the wickedness of the man of sin who has made the Sunday law a distinctive power, who has thought to change times and laws, and to oppress the people of God who stand firmly to honor Him by keeping the only true Sabbath, The Sabbath of creation, as holy unto The Lord. --Testimonies to Ministers, pp. 117, 118.

Are Seventh Day Adventists
obeying this command?
The answer is: Yes and No!
Yes, a very small number are exposing the wickedness of the Papacy.
NO, the LARGE MAJORITY are NOT exposing the wickedness of the Papacy.
Adventist "Leaders" have declared that the , "man of sin, the son of perdition," is their "friend"!
"The “man of sin,” which is also styled the
”the “son of perdition,” and “that wicked,” represents The Papacy, which, as foretold in prophecy, was to maintain its supremacy for 1260 years. This period ended in 1798."
This leaves us with only one conclusion. We know the Scripture that says in
Rev. 13: 2,
"And the beast (((Papal Rome))), which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon, (((Satan, Rev. 12: 9))) ,gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."
Seated beside the pope, on an invisible throne, is The Dragon, Satan himself directing his vicar!
The Throne-room of John Paul 2, is also the Throne room of Satan!
Now we have B.B. Beach in 2001, standing in the Devil's throne room, clasping the hand of The Devil's Vicar and declaring him to be the "friend" of Seventh Day Adventists!
Christian Friend, do you understand the full impact of this? The General Conference on November 8, 2001, declared The Devil and all his evil agents was their "friend"! Can we be the "friend" of The Devil and the "friend" of The Creator God at the same time?
God answers us: James 4:4
"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
Since the Spirit of God tells us that the Roman Catholic Church with Satan as her leader, is the,

that the Popes of the Catholic Church are their "Friends",
The General Confence "leaders", HAVE PUBLICALLY DECLARED THEMSELVES THE ENEMY OF GOD

We have been told by the Spirit of God that the PAPACY IS THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY.
We have been told that it is the "mystery of iniquity that figures so largely in the winding up of this earth's history. . . ."

Then: it is the Catholic Church who is the dominant power in the "winding up of this earth's history. . . ." Ev 705
While Russia, China, The United States and the nations of earth, each have their respective part to play in the drama, it is the Papacy that dominates the whole and "all the world wonders after the beast", which beast is the Papacy.
Now; for my friends who believe that the French Revolution is described in the verses of Daniel 11:36-39 and that Turkey suddenly enters the picture in 40 to 45, even though they agree it is the Papal Power up to verse 35.
No where in Scripture or Testimony is Turkey given a prominent position in the closing scenes of history as we have just read in the preceeding testimony. Clearly and unequivocally the Spirit has said it is the "Man of sin, the son of perdition, the Mystery of Iniquity, which is The Papacy that; "figures so largely in the winding up of this earth's history. . . ." Ev 705
Now consider what Paul said in:
2 Thessalonians 2:3-10.

Where is Paul quoting from? What text of Scripture is on his mind? He was quoting from Daniel 11:36-37. That is the only text that says the very same thing in a few more words!
Daniel 11:36-37.
"11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all."
There is no doubt that Daniel and Paul are speaking about the very same, "king"!
Paul says: ..."Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;...."
Daniel says: "he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god,...nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all."
Can anyone honestly deny that Daniel and Paul are writing about the very same "king" ?
WATCH YOUR STEP
PAUL CALLS THIS MAN WHO EXALTS HIMSELF ABOVE ALL GODS BY SEVERAL NAMES THAT REVEAL HIS TRUE CHARACTER!
In 2 Thess. 2: 3; Paul calls this false king the "man of sin" and "the son of perdition".
In verse 8, Paul calls him, "that wicked".
